On behalf of the American Federation of Teachers and the Voter Participation Center, Democracy Corps conducted online dial meter research during the June Democratic Presidential debates among almost 200 registered voters nationally.
All but three of the 20 candidates on stage increased their net favorabilty among those surveyed and Democrats performed well among the Rising American Electorate, White working-class women, and White college-educated women — all proven to be important demographic groups for Democrats going into 2020.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Kamala Harris were the winners of their respective debate nights but are still receiving less support overall than former Vice President Joe Biden. CONT.
