U.S. ready for a female president — but electing one isn’t a top priority, CNN/ORC poll finds

With the Democratic Party poised to nominate the first major-party female candidate for president, a new CNN/ORC Poll finds that 80% of American voters feel the country is ready to put a woman in the Oval Office.
