Americans Split on Defense Spending

For the past decade, Americans have been more likely to say the U.S. government spends too much on defense rather than too little, but today, a slim margin separates these views. While the 32% of Americans saying the country is spending too much is about average for recent years, the 34% saying “too little” is the highest since 2001. CONT.
