Now that the debt deal has been pushed down the road (again), we find ourselves back to the issue of immigration in Washington (again). The results of these negotiations are important to Republicans because we’ve seen over the past two presidential elections that Hispanics are voting in larger and larger numbers, and the dramatic shift towards Democrats is playing a key role in the outcome of elections.
