The Oregon congressman and chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee told his fellow GOP lawmakers Wednesday that the NRCC has taken concrete steps to shore up the party’s polling operation for the midterm cycle, sources said.
In a meeting of the House Republican Conference, Walden notified Republicans that the NRCC has completed its review of the GOP’s 2012 polling woes and has sent a memo to the party’s pollsters laying out guidelines for their work in 2014.
