Obama’s Challenge: Higher Likability Than Approval

As U.S. President Barack Obama prepares to accept the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination for a second time, his personal favorability ratings remain above the 50% mark, while his job approval ratings are below that, as they have been for most of the last two years.
