After Republicans of all stripes spent weeks entertaining President Trump’s electoral fantasies, lawmakers had to show their cards with the Jan. 6 vote to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s win. The overwhelming majority of Senate Republicans decided to live in the real world. The overwhelming majority of House Republicans chose Trump’s alternate universe, a sign the president’s hold on them will last for years to come. CONTINUED
