On Tuesday night, three candidates punched their tickets to Super Tuesday. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary, former South Bend, Ind., mayor Pete Buttigieg came in second in the voting and tied for delegates, and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar surged past Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former vice president Joe Biden to take third. Placing well in New Hampshire was a must for all three of these candidates, and some (or all) of them may get a national polling bounce from these results.
But the coalitions that led these candidates to victory in Iowa and New Hampshire won’t be enough to get them through the hurdles ahead. CONT.
