Job Satisfaction Climbs to Highest Level in Over Two Decades

As American workers head into Labor Day weekend, a new nationwide survey reveals they’re feeling better about their jobs than they have in years.

Published today by The Conference Board, Job Satisfaction 2019 finds some 54 percent of U.S. workers satisfied with their employment. That number is up three points from 2018, marking one of the largest single-year gains in the survey’s history. Workers also report being much more at ease about their job security.
