CNN online poll: 77% of Republicans think Trump has been exonerated of collusion with Russia

Based on what they say they have heard or read about the final report delivered to the Justice Department by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, 77% of Republicans think that President Donald Trump and his campaign have been exonerated of any collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. Eighty percent of Democrats think the President and his campaign have NOT been exonerated. Overall, 43% of Americans think Trump and his campaign have been exonerated, while 56% think they have not been exonerated.

These results are from a CNN Poll of 701 adults nationwide, conducted online March 25-26, 2019, using the SSRS Opinion Panel.

“As you may have heard, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has concluded the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and delivered his final report to the Justice Department on Friday. Attorney General William Barr then summarized the findings of the report in a four-page letter to Congress delivered Sunday. How much have you, personally, heard or read about the report?”
