A Key Group for Hillary Clinton: Voters Who Like Obama But Aren’t With Her

During one of the 2008 Democratic primary debates, then-Sen. Barack Obama described rival Hillary Clinton as “likeable enough.” At that point, in January 2008, Mrs. Clinton’s personal ratings were 47% positive and 41% negative. In May, Wall Street Journal/NBC News polling showed Hillary Clinton with personal ratings of 34% positive and 54% negative. Can she get back to being “likeable enough” – and, if so, how? CONT.
