Michigan: Proposal 1 for roads in big trouble

With just 5 days to go before statewide votes are counted, the Proposal 1 plan to fix Michigan’s crumbling roads and bridges has hit a major pot hole!

If the election were held today, 61 percent of likely voters would reject increasing the state sales tax from 6 to 7 cents to raise $1.3 billion for road repairs. Only twenty-nine percent would approve Proposal 1, 10 percent are undecided. CONT.
