Whether to use a term like “wave” or even the one we coined in 1994—the “political tsunami”—is a question of semantics. It’s also in the eye of the beholder. Looking at the Senate, the main event in this election, this was absolutely a wave. In my mind, however, the results were still short of a tsunami. CONT.
