Heartbleed Bug Prompts Concern but Little Action in U.S.

One of the most recent examples of a data security breach receiving widespread visibility in the U.S. is the Heartbleed bug that affected the credit and debit cards of millions of American shoppers earlier this year. A little less than half of Americans (45%) say they are aware of the bug, but of those who are aware, 71% are “somewhat” to “very concerned” about the security of their personal information. Even then, about four in 10 of those aware have not taken any specific action as a result. CONT.
