USC Price/LA Times Poll Calls Los Angeles Mayoral Race

With all precincts reporting, the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy/Los Angeles Times City Election Poll was again the most accurate citywide survey, coming within fractions of a percentage point in calling the margin of victory for yesterday’s L.A. mayoral election.

The USC Price/LA Times Poll was conducted by Republican polling firm M4 Strategies and Democratic polling firm Benenson Strategy Group on behalf of the USC Price School of Public Policy and the Los Angeles Times.

In the latest USC Price/LA Times Poll, conducted the week before the election, City Councilman Eric Garcetti led City Controller Wendy Greuel by 7 percentage points, with 11 percent undecided. The actual ballot returns show Garcetti won by 7.85 percentage points. [cont.]
