Law firm: political poll is bait-and-switch

A robo-calling campaign that starts out as a political poll and turns into a pitch for Caribbean time shares has drawn the attention of state regulators and consumer watchdogs. Residents in Massachusetts and other states, including people on the Federal Communications Commission Do-Not-Call Registry, have reported receiving the automated calls, which start out as a public opinion survey on political candidates.
