Americans Familiar with Affordable Care Act are its Strongest Supporters

… Those who understand the most about the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”) are among the most likely to feel that it has done more good than harm and should be strengthened and expanded. Those who have less knowledge of the facts support the new administration’s desire to repeal and replace the law – or even to repeal it without replacing it. As far as this issue goes, what we see is that the people who know more about the ACA tend to be more supportive, essentially looking more like the Democratic point of view. This suggests that those who identify as Republicans or Independents shift toward supporting Obamacare when armed with certain basic facts. CONT.
