The House decides not to set its last shred of public confidence on fire

The last time more than a third of Americans had a lot or a great deal of confidence in Congress, Ronald Reagan had just won reelection as president. The last time two-thirds of the country had at least some confidence in the institution was 2005 — right before a series of ethics problems reshaped the House of Representatives. CONT.
